Join the Journey: My Story and the Way I Work
Hi I’m Ja’ire Hattley, MA, LMFT (she/her)
pronounced Jay-Air just in case you’re wondering
I approach health and healing with a compassionate touch, valuing the intricate connection between the brain, body, mind, and environment. With a robust background spanning entertainment, health and wellness, environmental sustainability, and behavioral sciences, my unique perspective blends diverse experiences into a cohesive whole.
Growing up, I dedicated myself to community programs for underprivileged and disadvantaged communities volunteering in transitional programs for recovering addicts, shelters aiding abused women and children, and senior living facilities. These formative experiences ignited my passion for empowering individuals and couples, fostering relationships that thrive.
As an advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights and an ally to the BDSM/Kink community, I stand as a strong supporter of social justice for marginalized and BIPOC communities, amplifying voices that deserve to be heard.
In my clinical practice, my adeptness encompasses anxiety, depression, complex trauma, attachment issues, intersectionality and identity, addiction, betrayal trauma, bipolar disorders, sexual health, ADHD, and Ketamine assisted therapy. With a master's degree in Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles, and a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles, my clinical proficiency is grounded in a strong educational foundation. My training at the Antioch University Counseling Center, the Center for Healthy Sex, the Psychedelica Collective, and my membership with the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists underscore my commitment to professional growth and ongoing development.
My therapeutic approach is warm, trauma-informed, strength-based, and integrative. It integrates mindfulness, CBT, solution-oriented, narrative, and psychodynamic techniques, ensuring each client’s unique needs are met. Through this, I nurture strength, courage, and authenticity, empowering clients to uncover clarity and implement transformative tools that lead to meaningful change.
Additionally, by integrating my background as an international performer and vocalist, I leverage my clinical experience to skillfully help guide clients through their profound Ketamine assisted therapy journeys, enhancing the therapeutic process with soothing melodies.
In my personal life, I find my vitality in travel, dance, nature, adventure, song, and cherished moments with loved ones.
Embark on your transformative journey with me today.
